MBA Admissions

Welcome!

Admission into The Morgan MBA requires proof that the candidate can compete successfully in the program and move to a career in a leading organization. To do this the candidate provides information in terms of an essay, work experience, undergraduate education and test results to prove his/her ability to compete successfully.

International Students have additional requirements.

The MBA program has a rolling acceptance. This means we’ll accept you right up to the day of classes in the Fall or Spring. Please inquire at the MBA office if you are contemplating applying to the program. We can advise you on timing and consult on other aspects of the process.

Morgan’s admission process requires to you submit all the items in the list below to the Graduate School. Once you have submitted all this material and met the basic Graduate School requirements, your portfolio will be sent to the MBA program to be evaluated. A decision, then is made on your acceptance as a candidate.

These items are required and must be sent to the Graduate School:

  • An application to the university.
  • Undergraduate transcripts from all undergraduate schools.
  • Scores on the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT).
  • Three letters of recommendation;
  • A detailed resume.
  • An essay on professional plans and what role the MBA will play in attaining them.
  • Note: Inquire if you recently completed an accredited masters program or have significant experience in organizations.

    A decision on your candidacy can take several avenues. If you get the program acceptance, the graduate school will send you an acceptance letter. If your undergraduate grade-point is between 2.5 to 2.99, you will be conditionally accepted. If there is merit to the candidate’s record, but the undergraduate grade point is below 2.5, the MBA can recommend the non-degree track. See the graduate school catalog in the eventuality you are invited into that track.
