Financial Aid

Application must be made to the MBA department for financial support. The application simply makes your intent known. Financial support is allocated on the basis of merit and the time when the application is made if there is a queue. Financial support is reviewed when a student falls below a 3.0 grade point in graduate courses taken. In addition, moral and ethical violations put financial support in jeopardy.

The available packages of financial support from the MBA are:

a) Assistantships- This program is for full-time students. It includes 20 hours of work weekly supporting some project managed by the MBA or a professor. The assistantship also includes tuition only for up to 9 credit hours per semester. Fees are the student’s responsibility. A student retains the scholarship for the length of the approved plan of study. This plan is filed in the MBA office and should be constantly upgraded.

b) Tuition and stipend- Students may be offered tuition scholarships and a modest stipend. The stipend is split between the Fall and Spring Semester. The tuition is paid by the MBA and the fees by the student.

c) Tuition grants- Tuition will be paid for 2 classes for part-time students and 3 classes for full-time students. Part-time students working full-time are expected to draw on the company’s tuition support prior to applying to Morgan.
